Friend Request

Here is a little something that I made last night that a friend has requested.  I thought it was a great idea!  I would have never needed one of these because my boys were all really good sleepers but I know some babies are not.  The loops slip over the door knobs of the baby's door and the fabric part covers the face plate.  This enables the latch from engaging, therefore making a door close quietly.  I tried it out last night and it works!  I also locked the door and it can keep a child from locking themselves in a room.  But my first thought was if they can get the door locked then could they get this off the doorknob?  Maybe not, if they were young enough.  I know my boys a few times locked the door accidentally and had no idea how they did it and they couldn't undo what they had done.  I can remember when my oldest was really young I had to take the doorknob off the door because I had nothing to pick the lock with!  And that was  after trying to explain how to unlock it through the door.

And it's reversible!

Please excuse the poor picture.  It was taken on my phone after dark but I wanted to share it with you!  Once I get a chance I will try to remember to take a picture of it "in action" so you can see how it works.
