Owls Custom Order

This is a custom order I had this week from a repeat customer.  She bought a pencil bag for her son 2 years ago and loved it so much she wanted one for her daughter for this school year.  She said she loved it so much because it was so durable and still holding strong!  I love to get great feedback like that from happy customers.  Makes this girl happy :)

She wanted one a little bigger than a typical pencil bag so she could fit bigger items such as glue, rulers, etc.  She searched through my crayon rolls and found a fabric that she liked and I had enough to make one just for her.  I made her bag the same size as my cosmetic bags that I have listed.  It is the same length, just taller.  I love doing custom orders for my customers!

New Items!

Hello Friends!
I just wanted to let everyone know that I have added a few items to the shop this week!  I have had several requests for these items and I am so excited to have them now! 

The first item is bibs.  Small bibs and large bibs.  They are all backed with matching terry cloth and are lined with flannel for an extra layer to soak up the drools.

 The small ones are best for infants and the large ones are best for about 4 months and up.

 

Another new item I have available is tag blankets.  These make great loveys or security blankets!

 

And the most requested item I have had is sunglass cases!  And I have a lot to choose from!

I am slowly getting them added to my Etsy Shop so check back often!

Dr. Suess

I finally got to cut into the Dr. Suess fabric that I purchased a few months ago!  I have been itching to make some crayon rolls with them but I have been so busy with other crayon roll orders.  I had someone contact me and needed 10 asap so I whipped them out and had them in the mail the next morning.  They turned out cute and I love all the colors! 

This week on my to-do list is 10 construction crayon rolls and 40 whale rolls!

I do have more of these available in my Etsy shop.

Rossin's Birthday

One of our friend's little boys turned 1 a couple of months ago and I made a baby book for him.  I just realized I never blogged about it!  It turned out really cute and it's a good book to bring to church when he needs something quiet to play with.  I made it out of  old jeans and some scraps.  Because you know I have TONS of those!

I love how it turned out and now I am coming up with ideas to make one for girls!  Maybe if I can get time to make more I can sell them in my Etsy shop!   Today I am linking up with Made By You Monday over at Skip to My Lou and Too Cute Tuesday at the Fundky Polkadot Giraffe.  They always have great crafty stuff to look through that others post.  Go check it out!

Gift Sets

Sorry it has been awhile since I have posted!  I have had a lot of custom orders for crayon rolls and I have been busy with those.  I am just about tired of Batman, Monsters, Polka Dots and Ladybugs!   Ha!  But that is okay, I love to sew so that makes it fun! 

I have added a few gift sets that I made last month and am just getting around to listing.  They include a zippered bag with gusseted bottom, a coordinating tissue holder and bookmark.  They would have made great Mother's Day gifts, but I didn't get around to them in time :(  Maybe next year!  But I know there are birthdays and other reasons people might want to purchase a gift set so they are now available!  I just tried to add photos of some but Blogger is acting up.  You will have to go to my Etsy shop to see what is  available!
